The Closure of ‘Roller-Coaster Road’ and the Completion of Permanent Access Road from Sg Besi-Puchong Highway to Taman Puncak Jalil.

Pleased be informed that the Temporary Access Road from Sg Besi-Puchong Highway a.k.a ‘Roller Coaster Road’ will be closed from Thursday, 20th July 2006 to make way for the contruction of our Permanent Access Road from Sg Besi-Puchong Highway to Taman Puncak Jalil. With the closure, all light vehicles will be diverted to the Link Road to Bandar Kinrara and heavy vehicles to the Kota Perdana-Equine Park Access Road.

The road will remain closed until the completion of the Permanent Acces Road which is expected to be ready by early October 2006 (3 months from July 2006) as promised by our Developer Maxisegar/Talam Corporation.

The completion of the Permanent Access Road from Sg Besi-Puchong Highway is very crucial to our Developer, as this is one of the conditions set by Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya for the approval of the opening of the Link Road to Bandar Kinrara, and it must be ready by early October 2006. The progress of the contruction will be personally monitored by the YDP of MPSJ and our Assemblyman, Yang Berhormat Dato’ Dr. Haji Satim bin Diman.

The Persatuan Penduduk Taman Puncak Jalil will regularly update all Residents and the relevant parties such as MPSJ and our Assemblyman.

We hope all Residents will be patient and abide by the road signs.

Regards

Access road-very unfortunate school kids

Postby mani » Fri Jul 21, 2006 10:43 am

It is a sad today coz many school kids were stranded due to the closure of road for school bus. The bus driver was so mad and furious.(i was the first car upfront stopped by "school childreen barricade").
When i told the children to move, they ask "how to go to school?" and worst, the driver with his assistance were making sure the kids doesn't move.
Pity the kids and the bus driver but i cannot accept the bus driver's action, by endangering their live and refuse the children to go back to the bus. Luckily two other car owner came to calm him down and clear the place.
WHO"S FAULT IS THIS?"
Someone was taking photo's (as though this is being pre-planned)
Please remove the bar for the bus to travel and allow the kids to use the shortest and most convenience route to school. Longer route (Seri Kembangan or Puchong) will be tough on the kids.

If you remove the bar, it will open the pandora's box, as all the lorries, and other heavy vehicles will begin to ply the Kinrara link, and this will make the traffic situation even more choking. Other arrangement would be more feasible, but then MPSJ and Talam need to work out the arrangement.

root of the problem is TALAM.
To put kids on the road, is bus driver and his assistance's fault.

A sign board should be put up few days before the actual closure date to pre-amp and allow users to plan their route ahead. Poor communication is not acceptable and always invite unnecessary issues.

Jalil, I totally agreed with you.

The road closure was inevitable and again the removal of the bar at BK link will creating more new issues which neither any parties would be happy at all.

The incident this morning was something that should not be happened if everyone compromise and work on other alternatives positively... Especially it happened in front of the school children.

In fact, the closure since yesterday evening had caused some issue too. I noticed that many errant drivers still wanna be a hero, eventhough there was a signage indicate road to TPJ was not accessible. As the outcome, they getting stuck at the block up the entrance hill and got to reverse back to the main road. Stupidity or Stubborn?

Is there a notice board telling drivers that the access road is closed and they are to use the link road?

I think residents who doesn't use this forum might be in the dark.

Anyway, this is another step forward for the township. Bravo!

We know the road will be closed. Just that we dont know when. Hence we cant confirm. As per George posting, they are waiting for the authorities to give green light.

Any how, the RC is closed.... hopefully work can be done in 3 mths time... looking fwd to see a new "RC"...

Dear all Residents of TPJ,

Here is the excerpt taken from the Harian Metro today, which it not correct and irresponsible & have only based on that particular bus driver which involved in the school bus and children incident at the 1st morning on the road closure day.

Message from AJK of PPTPJ

Edisi KL: Murid kandas

Oleh Mohd Sabran Md Sani
sab@hmetro.com.my

Tindakan pemaju terbabit mengakibatkan kira-kira 200 pelajar di kawasan sekitar terlewat hampir dua jam pagi Jumaat lalu, manakala sebahagiannya pula terpaksa ponteng sekolah.

Pemandu bas sekolah, Abdul Subhan Basha Sahib, 47, berkata tindakan pemaju mengakibatkan tugas menghantar pelajar ke sekolah berhampiran terlewat hampir dua jam.
