The Puncak-Jalil website software will be upgraded between 2:30am and 3:30am Malaysian time. Between these times the forum will not be accessable.
Later we will move the site to another server located in the Softlayer Datacenter in Dallas. We will announce this change as soon we are ready to move all the data.

The Appointment of IJM Construction
Sdn Bhd by Talam/Maxisegar Sdn Bhd as the Main Contractor to complete
the remaining construction work in Taman Puncak Jalil
Talam/Maxisegar Senior Vice President, Mr Tan Bak Hai, and it’s Vice
President, Mr. Michael Khor, and I together with the Vice President and
Committee Members of Persatuan Penduduk Taman Puncak Jalil, had held a
meeting on the 13th of October 2006 at Kinrara Golf Club, Bandar
Kinrara.
In the meeting, we were informed by them that Talam/Maxisegar Sdn Bhd
have appointed IJM Construction Sdn Bhd as the Main Contractor to
complete the remaining construction work in Taman Puncak Jalil. The
agreement was signed on the 11th of October 2006. Tan Sri Chan Ah Chye
signed the agreement on behalf of Talam/Maxisegar and Datuk Krishnan
Tan for IJM Construction Sdn Bhd. A copy of the agreement was shown to
us..
IJM Construction Sdn Bhd is expected to start work by the middle of
November or latest by early December 2006, as informed by
Talam/Maxisegar Sdn Bhd representative.
The scopes of work of IJM Construction Sdn Bhd in this appointment are as follows:-
A. To the Residents of Taman Puncak
Jalil, IJM Contruction Sdn Bhd will complete the remaning construction
work of the following:-
1. To complete the Permanent Access Road from Sg. Besi-Puchong Highway.
2. To make good and repair the existing Main Road and internal road in Taman Puncak Jalil.
3. To make good and repair all street lightings in Taman Puncak Jalil.
4. To make good the existing landscaping work in Taman Puncak Jalil.
5. To make good the exisiting drainage system in Taman Puncak Jalil.
6. To handover the whole of Taman Puncak Jalil to Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya and obtain the Permanent CF.
B. To the Purchasers of the uncompleted houses/apartments/shophouses, IJM
Construction Sdn Bhd will complete the remaining contruction work of the following:-
1. To complete and handover to Purchasers all the sold but uncompleted
Double-Storey Houses and Single-Storey Houses in Taman Puncak Jalil.
2. To complete and handover to Purchasers all the sold but uncompleted Apartments in Taman Puncak Jalil.
3. To complete and handover to Purchasers all the sold but uncompleted Shophouses in Taman Puncak Jalil.
The actual work schedule will be released by IJMContrsuction Sdn
Bhd by early November 2006, and all Residents and Purchasers will be
informed accordingly.
With this new on-coming wave of change in the development of our
taman, I hope all residents will continue to cooperate and give support
to the Developer so as to make Taman Puncak Jalil THE BEST PLACE TO
LIVE IN!

POSTPONEMENT OF 2/2006 DIALOGUE SESSION WITH RESIDENTS
I regret to inform that we have to postpone our 2/2006 Dialogue Session
with Residents scheduled on 3rd September 2006 to a new date due to the
failure of Maxisegar/Talam to complete their Restructuring Scheme with
their crediters/bankers. Their meeting with their creditors/bankers was
supposed to take place on 21 Aug 2006 but has been postponed to 14
September 2006.
The new schedule for the 2/2006 Dialogue Session is as follows:
2/2006 DIALOGUE SESSION WITH RESIDENTS
Date: 17 Sept 2006
Time: 3.00 pm – 5.00 pm
Venue: Taman Permainan Fasa 5A, Taman Puncak Jalil.

Talam tumbles after failing to submit accounts |

Share price of Talam Corporation Bhd fell as much as 41.7% or seven sen to 10 sen on Aug 24 after it failed to issue its annual audited accounts for the financial year ended Jan 31, 2006 which was due on May 31.
It opened at 16 sen, or one sen below the previous day's closing price of 17 sen. Within the first hour, there were 6.35 million shares done at prices ranging from 10 sen to 16 sen. At 10am, it was trading at 11.5 sen, down 5.5 sen.
